We're not even testing frontline staff mate.

I don't think the UK can accuse the WHO of being stupid. Stones, glass houses etc.

Witty maybe an expert in his field ,however, clearly is not politician, yet despite this he finds himself at the very centre of British politics in a crisis. Matter of time before that knife goes into him.

So if anyone has a cough or illness then the government advises we self isolate at home

Everyone bar me in the house is ill right now, 2 coughs and whatever else the wife has , not quite the flu but not a cold either.

So I have to stay at home , yet I know they don't have the virus for a fact . I know if I did ring in then if the day came I actually had to self isolate because of the virus then I would trigger the sickness policy in work for being off twice.

People will go to work even if they are unwell. Virus or no virus , they will still go into work because on the whole, we are a nation that punishes being sick. That's going to cause issues long term, no matter how much you say in London.

You actually don’t know this (unless they’ve tested negative). There’s a proportion of the population who will have the virus but be completely asymptomatic, and not even know they had it. Others who have nothing more than a minor cough or a sniffle.

This is why it’s so infectious.

However, your point about sickness pay, and being a nation that punishes it, is spot on.

What nonsense that was from Boris earlier. Avoid social gatherings like the pub, restaurants and the cinema etc but they are not made to close. Again putting it on the people themselves rather than making the tough decisions. Same with saying if you have any symptoms or someone in your house has symptoms even if you don't then stay at home and don't go to work but unfortunately because he is not being harder on this some businesses are not taking it seriously at all. So people will be worried about their job and being paid so will just go in. It's a joke to be honest.

If they were made to close, they'd probably be insured.

Johnson is just protecting the underwriting classes and letting the venues take the hit, as you'd expect from the Tory worm.

English people can be some of the best people in the world. When I return to the UK for holidays I am constantly reminded what a friendly/kind nation we are. But we do have a minority that is... well pretty much summed up perfectly by that video.
Kinda the same with racism. Whereas in the UK people are generally not racist (especially not as much as other nations I could mention) the racists we do have, are as bad, and thickheaded as you could hope to meet. A toxic combination of extreme pride, and narcissism with absolute crud for brains.
