I’ve got tickets for a gig at mounford hall In early April (2500 capacity). This size of gathering wouldn’t need police and ambulance support I guess?

Anyway I’ve decided not to go because of the risk, so I checked the terms of the ticket agency and was shocked to see that even in light of the current situation they will not issue refunds unless the gig is cancelled (even if there’s a travel ban in force)!

they will think about a refund if I have coronavirus but I must provide proof from the NHS!!!

So the emphasis now is on either the govt to cancel events like this or the group themselves.

load of bollocks
Your local cafe, bar, pub and restaurant will probably have insurance against loss of earnings if they're forced to close, which would help cover coronavirus.

Yet, the government aren't saying that bars etc. should close, but rather recommending that people simply keep away thus the onus is on the owners to decide.

France has imposed strict restrictions as of Tuesday midnight:
  • All non-essential movement to be banned from Tuesday midday for 15 days; residents must stay at home
  • Punishments for those flouting the regulations
  • Army to be used to help transport the sick to hospital
  • Military hospital to be used in Alsace, near German border
  • Borders to be closed in agreement with other European Union countries
  • Second round of local elections postponed
  • No business, regardless of size, will be allowed to fail

Sacked it last week because his girlfriend's basement flooded... It wasn't like she was going to drown if he was gone for 2 hours. He also refused to save €200 on van hire by letting me ride in the back with the gear because of "Insurance"

I'm starting to think he has to go.
He will never make it. What about when you're on a world tour? He'll be telling you to keep the noise down whilst youre smoking crystal meth with a bus full of groupies. You don't need it mate

Ok fellas what do we do now? One of my kids got sent home from school today with a 38degree temp. Got him home and it’s been more like 37.5. My daughter has one of 37.7 and mine is 37.5

37.8 is the point at which it'd be diagnosed as a high temperature

For the moment, assume you're infected.

Test everyone's temperature again tomorrow morning. If anyone's 37.8 or over, or has a persistent cough, assume you're infected ( with something, might not be Coronavirus )

If, tomorrow morning, no-one's got a cough or a temperature, you might be OK, but get professional advice before going back to normal.

Disclaimer : I'm just a bloke on the internet, but I reckon the above advice is fairly sensible, but @DrEFC and @RAFUH seem like pros so will hopefully tell us if I'm talking bollocks.
