Stay at home is government's advice.
The advice is about household isolation. Ie if one family member is ill then all must stay inside as much as possible for 14 days

Do we really need the One Show giving advice after we had official advice earlier from an expert who gave good sound instructions?

I’ve got tickets for a gig at mounford hall In early April (2500 capacity). This size of gathering wouldn’t need police and ambulance support I guess?
Anyway I’ve decided not to go because of the risk, so I checked the terms of the ticket agency and was shocked to see that even in light of the current situation they will not issue refunds unless the gig is cancelled (even if there’s a travel ban in force)!
they will think about a refund if I have coronavirus but I must provide proof from the NHS!!!
So the emphasis now is on either the govt to cancel events like this or the group themselves.
load of bollocks as the govt clearly haven’t got a backbone and are scared of the insurance implications. So in reality it falls on the band or the promoter to exercise common sense.

Its always going to be up to the individual to follow medical advice. I dont get this argument?
The chief medical officer can give the best advice in the world but people can ignore if they are daft enough to do so. People need to take personal responsibility to do the sensible thing and to make sure we help those in need. Government can only do so much.
