*sigh no, that's not what it means at all. Please try not spreading misinformation online, it's not helpful.
From the Ministry of Hindsight, if only the detail here had been spoken about here before Hancock article and Marr interview this morning, then this would not look like a hastily rewrite and backtracking from a point of going too far. And supporters here would look entirely credible

Ooops!

Communication Communication Communication, alas it requires details and actual work, not Johnsons bluff.

Literally just kicked over my other can.

My day just took a sinister turn.
from a north west resilience perspective they’re pushing business to advice home working or agile working hence limiting the amount of people in rush hour commute.

How that is managed in London will be down to them, and it will obvious be a lot trickier due to the higher population

I literally haven't got any choice.

I'm doing home assessments so i have to take public transport and walk and assess different people in there houses.

I may as well just start mainlining Corona immediately.

Woke up to this news this morning. The missus has her first TUI wedding on the 28th of April. She will walk in to all this tomorrow when back in work.

....I feel for the economy over there, it will be even further decimated. We were heading to Ikos hotel in Halkidiki, still scheduled for Cyprus with TuI in July.

*sigh

That's not to stop the spread of the virus, it's so that emergency services aren't consumed monitoring such events. And yes, if people do have symptoms and aren't self-isolating, they need to give their head a wobble. It's the governments job to ensure that the financial support is in place to help ensure that happens. Time will tell how effective they prove to be on that front, but that's something the Home Office need to be right on top of.
Further London update i went out and bought a couple of Captain Morgan cocktail cans and some Marlboro.

I forgot i opened one of the cans next to me and it's just poured out all over my bed.

Half my supplies and my bedding gone in a flash. Pretty tough to take this.
you won’t last the night. The snails are circling

How's this thing going to play out in 3rd world countries?! Hygiene standards in certain areas obviously are terrible. But as a proportion much less old people. Still must surely be a massive worry just around the corner

Nothing update:

One of the girls I like in Cambodia reckons that the bars are closing. I've asked a mate of mine to verify whether this is true. He says it's business as usual.

I've also burnt my pizza ffs

With this, it’s mainly down to your business and their Business Continuity Plan. They should be stopping, or reducing, all nonessential services to maintain staffing levels and mitigating the risk throughout the service.

when people are on social media debating that it’s either an illuminati ethnic cleansing experiment, linked to 5G rollout or a man made virus which has been accidentally let out of the lab then what Johnson or the ministers say will be of little value to the day to day person

I’m not defending the government by the way, they have acted to slow in certain aspects. I’m just stating that people who followed official advice and actually educated themselves would not be emptying the shelves of bog roll

Perhaps, but surely the question that should be asked then is why people trust rumours rather than the official line?

I know social media is pervasive but if we didn’t have a PM known for fibbing backed up by a media that most people trust even less than him, I doubt there would be so much stockpiling of toilet rolls.

Also if it is that bad, why haven’t the Government blocked the worst offenders (the firms)?

Agreed but they get paid by assessment, they won't stop until they are told to probably.

I'll still be assessing as we are herded into the Corona machine.
