I’m sorry. This has made me so angry.

I’ve had enough. I’ve made some really really difficult personal decision during this period because it was the right thing to do. And it’s been really hard.

And that **** does something so reckless. He’s entitled and just laughing at everyone.

And now Gove has the audacity to pretend he has any kind of compassion? Gove?

I don’t care what your politics. These people are laughing at you.
A lot of people will be feeling like that mate. At the moment I feel angry, let down and not a little bit stupid. And not necessarily in that order

"How would he know? "
To me, talking to a professional in the system in that tone, comes over as arrogant and disrespectful.
What's the point of claiming record funding for the whole organisation when the people on the front line can't get the supplies and materials they need to do their work.

in this case its because it avoids him talking about Cummings

It really wasn’t meant that way. It’s just that you can be a professional in any organisation, public or private, and 99% of the people haven’t a clue what their finances really are.....

If he’s guilty of something he should be punished... just as Kinnock should have been for also breaking the lockdown rules...there is that what you wanted....

you may find the following useful

You can try some immediate techniques to help treat acute hyperventilation:
  1. Breathe through pursed lips.
  2. Breathe slowly into a paper bag or cupped hands.
  3. Attempt to breathe into your belly (diaphragm) rather than your chest.
  4. Hold your breath for 10 to 15 seconds at a time.

The story makes absolutely no sense for a whole multitude of reasons.

Firstly why on earth youd drive from London to Durham with your kids if you think you've got Corona, is beyond me. Also, leaving your kids to be looked after by older parents, especially those over 70, needs to only be done as an absolute last resort. Even ignoring fact it seems to be against the guidelines, it just seems like a daft thing to do.

All that said, I dont agree with not being able to go to my parents house, and I think that rule needs to be relaxed immediately. 10 weeks is far too long and it's not good for society. I no longer feel the risk is severe enough for such an extreme rule.
But the point is Tim you haven't visited them, especially when you had the virus

TBF that has been the most sensible thing UK policing has done in ages - a welcome return to the idea that cops should talk to people sensibly rather than just fly around on blue lights from call to call to call, boot doors in and so on. People have benefitted far more from gentle persuation, setting a good example and designing out the temptation to do things than firing off fines and sectioning contagious people would have done.

It also takes into account the fact that the directions from HMG on this have been completely lamentable, culminating in this farce, and all the cuts which have meant they couldnt do what the French / Spanish / Italians did anyway.
Perhaps we'll have to agree to disagree there. I'm not advocating draconian enforcement by any stretch, but the advice within some forces is questionable.

We're not talking about enforcement for one and all either as most people will act responsibly through engagement, but we also have those who don't.

The infection and death rate in the UK compared to other nations may not suggest we have although I understand it isn't as clear cut (black and white) as that.

are they late with the lines to take, then?

Do you think Cummings should resign?

But you honestly arent visiting your parents cos Boris The Butcher said you cant are you?

You can see your parents whenever you like, its your choice.

No. I’ve obeyed the lockdown and so should he...this hyperventilating angst that is being generated though is oxygen to this guy. He should have been slapped with a fine or whatever Kinnock got for doing the same.......
