I think the rotation thing is a good idea tbh. I’m in two minds about it because I still think it’s too early and part of me would rather they just sack it off til September but, having a 6 year old, it’s so important to be around peers, and in a classroom setting and being taught by a professional rather than two slightly frazzled and stressed parents.
my wife is in a secondary school so its 12-19 yr olds ,so not too bad.
They have online teaching with Microsoft Teams and to be fair its working well
The vast majority of students are submitting work on time and attending all the ZOOM classes
However as a SNA she finds her student is struggling with lack of routine even though he is highly intelligent

My wife is an SNA and that was one of the first things she was told by teachers
Every August its Vitamin C and other supplements plus natural yoghurt from then until schools close in June
Its a breeding ground for diseases .
I take multi vitamins every year from August until schools close, haven't had a sick day for years.

We will only know in June if the measures in place to ease the lockdown are spot on.

Currently, none of us have any idea how much the rate of infection is increasing.
If people stick to keeping their distance then there shouldn't be a problem, this virus is not transmitted out in the open, very very minimal risk to infection if you keep your distance in the outdoors.

I agree with outdoors.

My concern (particularly in London where I live) is the use of public transport and people having to work indoors.

I was listening to the radio before and it claimed that research estimates that 25% of COVID-19 deaths in the UK have diagnosed or undiagnosed diabetes.

The data shows that you're 20% more likely to be admitted if you're obese, and if you are admitted then you're approximately 40% more likely to die.
I'm fat, fifty and diabetic...so I am in trouble if I get it (something I need to remind my employer who is 60 with diabetes type 1 but has no fear and mocks mine). but b4 the outbreak I was doing well in going to the gym and walking. now I'm at home and walking up and down the stairs to exercise is no good for the knees I can tell ya.
I know I should go out but I think I'll wait until month end to see if there is a second wave.

Now that the lockdown has ended (and it has), the Scottish, English and Welsh tourist hotspots will have to open their doors very soon.

The Welsh in particular are bordering on being racist with their ongoing campaign against the English tourists.

The UK government need to get on top of this before the UK does become well and truly fractured.

Shurrup lad

Nope, no one from outside Wales is allowed in unless they have a legitimate reason - deliveries, work etc.

So it`s nothing to do with them singling out English tourists and it`s all to do with how the Welsh government want to implement their own rules re protecting the Welsh population - as is their right.

Scotland have done exactly the same, are they massive racists too ??

Bellend.
