Love this fella's chanel. He's like an american Louis Thereoux, only he hardly talks. He just lets people talk.
This is easily the best thing he's done. As funny as it is, it is equally terrifying.

Just 1 person and you'd mark it off as an anomaly... but this many idiotic people together... o_O

lol lol lol

Looney protestor: "How many people own the media?"

Interviewer: "I dunno. 3?"

lollollol

I see a scientist from SAGE has quit after breaking lockdown rules to meet a married woman he’s seeing .

not for the first time , nor do I expect the last time , in this thread I find myself typing “don’t do as I Do , do as I say “
Curious timing as our death rate is now the worst in EU... Anyone would think it was planned distraction.

Your major point was that population density was crucial in determining which country in Europe would suffer more deaths. But density isn't the issue; strategy is.

By the way, Belgium and the Netherlands have greater population density than the UK.
No Dave, my “major point” was two fold...population density and discipline on the lockdown (i.e. observance of whatever “strategy” is implemented). So, as I had said, it is a combination of the two.

I believe I also mentioned in my first post to you that Belgium and Holland have higher densities.

Sorry, yes you did.

But discipline and national traits is too subjective to toss in there as an explanation for topping this table.

We have not locked out airports or the channel tunnel down - planes are arriving 12, 000 passengers sat next to one another every week - it's pure madness imo
Are they getting tested? Isolated?
The daily death numbers are not decreasing that much .....it's a mess highest death rate in Europe.......
With this going on you don't have to wonder why..........

Where are you getting your numbers from Joey ?

Also, you do realise that virtually all of the passengers travelling by plane into the UK are British citizens returning home ??

You`re trying to portray this image of planes full of pissed up Brits returning from a jolly abroad, which is simply not true.

Part of the bickering amongst the medical and scientific 'experts'. Whitty and Vallance were holding centre stage and Mr Neil Ferguson - the suppose big cheese man to go to when there's an epedemic/pandemic - decided to gate crash the party with his 'this is what will happen with your herd immunity - 250 000 to 1.5 million deaths - that is unless you follow what I recommend'. When he got his way with his 'lockdown' he claimed 'deaths will now be about 20 000 or maybe less'. No wonder Vallance quipped '20 000'will be a good result'. Nothing short of infighting incompetence and negligence for the welfare of the British people by the government and the 'experts'. Neil Ferguson has shown it's the 'don't do as I do, do as I say' mantra that has caused Westminster to be an epicentre of the virus with MPs and the 'experts' catching it. They must be doing something drastically wrong to get it.

.

Certainly, though one of the journalists involved (Michael Gillard) is usually more known for investigative work into serious corruption (police / council / royal family etc); this seems a bit beneath him but who knows.

England = 430 people per sq KM - 195,000 cases, 29,427 deaths

Hong Kong = 6,659 people per sq KM - 1,000 cases, 4 deaths.

The UK has the distinct advantage that it's an island like Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Japan. The Tory government and the Brexiteers have been banging on for 4 years now about 'controlling our borders' and the first chance they have of 'controlling our borders' they blew it big time. But it's not surprising considering Whitty believes that 'air travel should not be stopped', he's staked his reputation on that, so it's no wonder they didn't restrict air travel from hot spots and still don't (first cases in the UK were people who had come back from China). Allowing the virus to be brought from those hot spots without even checking passengers. Negligence of the highest order. But not surprising from Whitty as he believes and lectures that 'being rich as a society massively hardens society against epidemics of any sort' ' i.e wont get any epidemics. (6.00). Well the coronavirus has shattered that one then.

I sense from today's Mea Culpa by Vallance, and then the well publicised resignation / set up of Ferguson (and yesterday's announcement of an 'alternative' SAGE) that there's a push on now by the media for the health experts to carry the can. They share the blame, but they shouldn't take all of it. They were merely carnival barkers sent out to do the bidding of Johnson and his gang.

New Government guideline to coroners say they shouldn't consider if a lack of PPE played a part on someone's death.

Horrible vile Government that has learned nothing of their predecessors covering up of Hillsborough

They are sat next to each other - social distancing? Are they tested ?do they go into 14 day isolation?
Don't care who they are the rest of the country is in lockdown
This is not lockdown in any sense of imagination..,
You are aware it's been reported some nurses have had covid 19 with no symptoms......after a test ......other countries lockdown means lockdown....
What happened to the isolation units on the Wirral early on - nothing reported about this lately........

I’ll meet you half way there D. Discipline and national traits are indeed very subjective. But, and difficult as they are to quantify and measure, they are always going to be relevant in the question of how well anything that is introduced on a national level will ultimately fare.

Whitty and Vallance need lynching. No question. Two nodding dogs.
