No. I believe everyone should be disciplined and try and see this virus off...still, if a free born Englishman really really needs their pastie or latte then they must get it.

Bon appetite.

I must admit to being shocked by the report of drivers in a queue for a coffee.....

You know why? YOUR governments that you support kept on shutting public transport down.

My village has never had a bus.

Tractors a gogo, but no buses.

My mate owns the local butcher shop, and he gets all his stuff, eggs included, from local sources, his lamb comes from my village. He has stayed open, and invested in a bigger van so he can deliver far more stuff to local folk. He is cheaper, (and way better), than your wonderful supermarket, he employs about 8 folk in the shop/butchery, and by him staying open, the local farms and dairies and that have a customer for their produce. (which would otherwise rot)

Spiv you say.

What exactly have you done to help and preserve some normality of life in this?

You should applaud these people. But you wont.

So, THE news of the day is that the Sick Man of Europe is the UK...and England in particular.

On the day that SAGE hold their hands up to say that their decisions were wrong in failing to stand up to the Tory Party and carry on trace, track, test from the beginning of March.

And there's people here who think that a shadow organisation to act as a watchdog to these witchdoctors is "unhelpful"

Interesting article by an Irish immunologist, he suggests that lock downs aren’t as effective as social distancing, hygiene methods. While another interesting point is the effectiveness of testing is not on the number of tests you do, but the she speed in getting the results and tracking contacts - he thinks testing is useless unless results can be gotten with 24/48 hours.

Try and observe social distancing on public transport at peak times or in schools etc
Man is talking poppycock

I am a local hero in my own way. Modesty forbids me to elaborate.

As for your farmer mate: he's 'kin raking it in. They called it profiteering in the war.

Cash from chaos.
