Thats the same as what I've been told or read, if it does mutateIt adds up with what we know about viruses in general, eventually there is a less deadly mutation, and it becomes the dominant one, leading to an eventual downturn in the disease.
The reason for this? A less deadly mutation doesnt kill the host as quickly or as often, and living hosts are much better at transferring a virus to others than dead hosts, hence the less deadly mutation spreads quicker.
I am shocked at that statement PeteMe and my mates could live with that. It’s like an official lock it.....
A new one to add to the list - DEATH, MURDER, SCUM, CORRUPTION !
I am shocked at that statement Pete
Not the lock in part though, the part about you having mates really shocked me lol
With a population of 5 million we were never geared up to do 100,000 tests a week (which is our target )It does. But can you imagine the abuse the U.K. would get from some on here for sending tests to Germany.......
You know why? YOUR governments that you support kept on shutting public transport down.In our village we have one shop. There are no buses. Some people don’t drive. Not everywhere has city or town facilities.....
Said all that. What essential shops are open?
Shops that are exempt from the Government's ban are food retailers, pharmacies, hardware stores, corner shops, petrol stations, shops in hospitals, post offices, banks, newsagents, laundrettes and pet shops.
Moron ,you are not allowed touch your face during the pandemic lolGot a good feeling pubs and restaurants will be back open middle to late June

No. I believe everyone should be disciplined and try and see this virus off...still, if a free born Englishman really really needs their pastie or latte then they must get it.I visited the cheese shop last Tuesday (I think) while passing through the village. While they said footfall was done, they're struggling to cope with online demands.
If they can safely be open and not have to rely on state aid (furlough scheme and loans), I have no issue with them being open and contributing to the economy.
The guidance is that the shops can remain open as long as they sell basic necessities or support key work (Screwfix etc.), and food is obviously a necessity.
Or is that @davek believes that the multi-national supermarkets should reap the bumper profits, while small businesses go down the pan at the tax-payers expense?
