Just general research and curiosity to be honest mate, working in health care myself I’m very interested in how others are managing things and lessons we can learn here. There is some great research, findings and analysis out there if you stay away and mistrust the general media outlets, working in health care your used to reading vast reaserch and articles.
Im a little cautious on R0 numbers myself, our is gone to .5, but I think it’s ancpetodeloy far higher, it’s as good as your testing and some other factors really, but it’s probably the best we can do with the data we have.
It’s useful in judging lock down, before our lockdown our R0 was 4.7, it’s .5 now. While that’s as good as our testing it does indicate a surpression in exponential growth. Same for the UK. That actually quite a positive number for the UK, but people know my feeling on the areas not included in data for the UK. That said NH are different from the community in a sense, as they are controlled environments and clusters can be shut down (if identified), as opposed to me and you walking around asymptomatic giving it to 4 or 5 people.
