Georgia about to widely reopen businesses so we should have some more empirical data on what happens without a lockdown in a few weeks. How much the residents of Georgia fully embrace this experimentation is an open question mind.

The shame of care homes is not that people are dying, they do that all the time, it’s that families do not look after their parents or grandparents while at home, alive. Care homes are used by some, not all, as an easy way to relinquish responsibility for the care of their family.....

I think that point of view mate is very uniuqe in being both a broad and narrow judgement all at the same time. But respect it may be your experience.

Cant be proved but I understand your thinking. I'm not against some kind of a lockdown but on it's own it doesnt seem to be having that much of an effect.

It is having an effect, but you’re going to get stupid people thinking they are above it and invincible by doing all they can to defy it. That’s where most other countries have us and the US beat, because their populations have been sensible about sticking to lockdown guidelines

My only thing would be to keep social distancing but loosen it a little bit

Still limited number of people in shops, still no social gatherings of more than two people etc

My only change would be to allow people to visit family, maybe once a month

I live on my own and I'd kind of like to be allowed see my family again if I'm honest

Talking of the most vulnerable... Been working with a person who suffers Schizophrenia, anyway for some years, the heavy smoking has been an increasing physical health issue. So, finally they had taken note of gental information of the health benefits of giving up. Tuesday I went to collect final two weeks of nicotine patches, the pharmacy ceased the program and no patches nothing, no explanation. Now I know....

Firstly something cannot be very unique -it is or it isn't unique - and honestly how can a judgement be broad and narrow at the same time ?

In that case, no. I looked at the dried pasta shelf half way down, near the milk. (the one with curry, pasta, chilli sauces) So its with the fresh pasta then? Sound. Will know next time.
