it's just human nature. historically there's been quite a few shady fascistic governments the world over, then you've got recent history of western governments lying to protect globalist/US interests (Iraq invasion, Assange etc), then combine that with a respected classic literature of predictive dystopic fiction (1984 etc) with the modern marvel of www communications, add a bit of youtube deleting David Icke videos and in the soup you've got a predictable, even understandable, sceptism.

i understand the sceptics, and none of us can say for certain that there aren't any hidden truths to this particular story...but personally i recommend the official take on this one, and try to coax the conspiracy-theory advocates to at least accept what we see in front of us.

but i understand them...i think gentle but persistent logic is the way to go to get these folk onside.

...and then there's the Tuskegee experiments in recent American history...previously user-based media like youtube beginning to mirror mainstream media...and with sars-cov-2 you've got the Chinese reproductive rate going from around 2.2 to effectively 0.1 almost instantly. That's incredible (as in the opposite to credible).

Sceptics looking for alternative theories and being wary of officialdom-approved vaccinations deffo feel they have a point. But we need most of them to come onside for vaccinations to work on a mass level. I reckon give them all the freedom of speech they want, don't ridicule them, just show them the way. I think most will get there in good time.

There are wide reports the market doesn't even sell bats to eat, it's a cover up by the Chinese Govt, they are going to get severely sued in the international courts over this, trillions in compo if it's proved to have originated from one of their labs, best they say it was from a market then eh?

I think at this point its pretty obvious it hasnt come from a food market.

My first thought was a lab...then there was the revelation that there was exactly that lab in wuhan.

Theres a reason why the Chinese have been covering this up from the beginning...and its not because of one person being infected at a food market and passing it on.

They are really taking advantage now though...charging 4 times the price of medical equipment and demanding other trade deals to be included.

Its utterly despicable. The world should isolate them after this mess.

Its clear to anyone without an agenda that deaths spike once the heathcare system is overrun as Italy's was so sadly. The statement it doesn't matter how many ventilators you have is absolutely the biggest load of rubbish I've read today, and I read @OnlyBlueWillDo 's conspiracy theories

That’s because you are and remain an idiot. The U.K. has fewer ventilators than Germany, but they are not all being used ...if we run out of ventilator capacity you would have a point, but that hasn’t happened, therefore it is irrelevant......

Theres a lot of ventilators being purchased by companies in the UK that I know about from China.

Thats first hand info.

Inspired by @peteblue been reading a bit about the German strategy and application of combating this virus.

By Mid January (Mid January FFS) Germany had self developed, self produced and self distributed its own testing throughout its health service and country as well as contact tracing infrastructure.

Most countries now after three months of this aren’t close to this and fighting with each other for resources to try and get close to this for May/June.
