where does it say anything about minimum? I'm afraid you are interpreting things. I'm following Government advice. I'm doing 1 form of exercise & travelling to & from work.
Simple maths and commons sense would tell you that the longer you are out the more likely you are to encounter other people and potentially spread the virus.

While there isn’t a pre-defined time period, you’d find it very difficult to not get a fixed-penalty if you were found a significant distance away from your home.

It’s like in the US and open carry: you can in some states walk around near a school with an AR-15 on your back, but you’d be a tit if you did.

Right now, people should be going out for the bare minimum and nothing more.

You're not though are you, unless you are saying a 40km bike ride is the minimum exercise you need.

Is that what you're saying ?

I’m not fighting the blokes corner because I don’t really agree with his premise but the whole thing seems slightly confused in my opinion . Excessive exercise Not Allowed , making & delivering pizza or cocktails FINE ; sitting on a bench in the park Not allowed ; Travelling to work on the tube to build Flats , shops or houses and eat 5 to a table in the canteen FINE ; couple who live separately visit each other Not Allowed , travel to work In a warehouse with multiple other members of staff to facilitate the Delivery of clothes and various non essential items FINE.

Again we follow instructions but it’d be nice if some of them made sense . I can’t help but think certain things don’t really seem to gel together . A lot of counties have gone full lockdown we haven’t , a lot have gone big on testing and we haven’t . To me We seem to be doing things a little differently .

Playing devil advocate it's well known moving older people is a killer, sure makes sense to move them even it just shaves a couple of thousand off COVD19 deaths it will look good, or is this another way to spread the herd immunity, move people out of the care homes (Petri dish) and into the wider community...
It seems that care homes have been the most notable clusters for the disease to spread at. Where there’s a death at a care home, more inevitably follow. So more distancing than anything and breaking up clusters of high vulnerability.

Is a carehome not the safest place for the most vulnerable if they can be very careful about who works there? Ideally you'd want all staff down to a minimum and have said staff all in shared accom.
Agreed, but you’d need testing of staff and proper PPE, which is half the battle at present.

Nature of care homes older people are generally more prone of dying from various illnesses. Being ill with COVID19 in care home will get you little chance of a hospital admission, being in the family home will. No chance grandma or grandpa are coming home for the second coming. Harsh but true.

I suppose that’s true. It just seems mad that nearly 1% of the deaths yesterday can be attributed to one care home (although it isn’t clear if that’s 7 in a day or 7 overall)

Grow up. That's like saying all the smokers or obese people don't deserve to be treated
To be fair.

If you are ill with a smoking related disease , it's a bit unfair you then take up medical help as a result.

It's printed on the box what the risks are.

Not really hopefully they got some opiates to make passion more comfortable, would speed passing away quickly as well. It's private setup so probably easier to find a Dr who will ignore NICE. Horrible to think otherwise! In particular as there is little chance to no chance of a hospital admission.

The missus has just been talking to her Dad who works for Unite on the transport side, 14 bus drivers so far have died during this. :(

I believe that is TfL numbers. The London Mayor has been getting his arse kicked over this for not providing any kind of ppe.......no idea about the rest of the country....
