Er.. yeah according to the Government.

For context: How the government defines needed exercise for general good health
https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/

Adults should:

  • aim to be physically active every day. Any activity is better than none, and more is better still
  • do strengthening activities that work all the major muscles (legs, hips, back, abdomen, chest, shoulders and arms) on at least 2 days a week
  • do at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity activity a week or 75 minutes of vigorous intensity activity a week
  • reduce time spent sitting or lying down and break up long periods of not moving with some activity.
You can also achieve your weekly activity target with:

You can do your weekly target of physical activity on a single day or over 2 or more days. Whatever suits you.

So if they are now recommending exercise once a day to limit viral spread, based the the general recommendations you are looking at about 20-30 minutes per day as the implied recommendation. Significantly beyond that in the current circumstances is entertainment not essential for physical well being in the short term.

where does it say anything about minimum? I'm afraid you are interpreting things. I'm following Government advice. I'm doing 1 form of exercise & travelling to & from work.

They’re just jealous of serious cyclists like you and I, Bruce doesn’t even have a bike......

I dont cycle but having a 16 month old Doberman I simply have to be able to get out for a good sized walk preferably where I can let her off lead but sadly no parks around mine of walking distance provide that so I normally try find a quiet field somewhere as local as possibe.

what guidlines are they then?
You really don’t know????
There are so many guidelines easily accessible if you wish to look.

The government’s priority is to save lives and the best way to protect yourself and others from illness is to stay at home.
However, exercise is still important for people’s physical and mental wellbeing, so the government has said people can leave their homes for exercise once a day.
Please use the following guidance in order to stay safe:
  • stay local and use open spaces near to your home where possible – do not travel unnecessarily
