Indeed. Every single person on my Strava feed has an indoor trainer as well, so they can exercise indoors quite easily. British Cycling are quite clear that people should stay local and only do what's necessary. Nothing applies to them.

Cyclists are massive nobheads to be fair...
I'm probably never more that 5-10 km from my house. I live in the countryside, not a city. I did a 2 hour ride on Sunday (40km) didn't see 1 other person..

Now if i went for a run or walk i'd see a lot more!

Selfish arse.

so is every runner and walker then.

Slightly different seeing as there were over 4000 serious cycling accidents last year.

“But I’m in the countryside”

And yet you’re still taking an unnecessary, selfish risk because you can be sure that some of those serious accidents occurred in the countryside too.

“Won’t happen to me”

Says every selfish nob head, some of whom it will happen to, and will take valuable ambulance services away from more important things as a result.

I badly sprained my ankle running last year and the year before got a stress fracture from it. Statistically you are more likely to injure yourself doing DIY in the house. Are all those people selfish Bastards when no doubt they will be doing it in this lockdown?

I'll take my advice off the government and not the internet mob who seemed determined to have everyone's liberties eroded during this.

The Government have been perfectly clear, do some research. The public must minimise any exercise to that which is absolutely necessary.

Or are you implying it is a necessity for you to swan about the countryside in lycra for hours on end ?

Again... pure porkies. The Government haven't put any stipulations on exercise apart from 'once a day'
