What I am noticing is the huge disparity between how the US recognizes their armed forces and UK. The Armed forces are doing exactly the same in the UK and the Police but somehow that's not recognized in the same way.

Sky reporters are getting worse by the day. Why do they think it's "essential" for Kay Burley (the moron responsible for such pearls of wisdom as "the missing Saudi Journalist Jamal Khashoggi s either alive or dead!") to he standing in front of Downing Street every day? How about all the others standing in front of St. Thomas Hospital? It's grossly inappropriate and the worst kind of ghoulish gutter journalism.

They're not, Repeat NOT essential workers. The country would function just fine without them. The rules clearly don't apply to the journalists in this country. The sooner that the media in this country is brought book the better. In fact the sooner that a sizable chunk of them are sacked and removed permanently from our tv screens the better.
