I think the government would have too be careful how far they took the lockdown mate.

Its a tough one, cos every household has different experiences and issues.

That said, I am a big fan of the new way we shop at supermarkets. The 10 minute wait to get in is totally repaid with having a near deserted shop in return. Mind you, if it was freezing and raining, I might not be so easy to please.

Or too put it another way, we haven't got a f***ing clue!
Exactly , it’s glaringly obvious surely ?

Not really. The U.K. is not out of step with any other country In lockdown. I would also raise the fact, again, that Sweden with no lockdown consistently has less than 10% of U.K. deaths yet has 15% of our population. Goat raised the issue of population density, yet Scotland with 50% of Sweden’s population has 60-70% of Sweden’s deaths. I read somewhere where the scientist referred to Covid19 as a hit and run virus, I.e the bodies own defence mechanisms tend to deal with the virus. Like almost everyone else on here I don’t have a clue, but I certainly do not believe we are dealing with this in a way that is inferior to anyone else, nor that we should worry that we are....

I'm afraid I can't look at that and think anything other than discrepancies in how various nations measure this. Do we really believe that Ecuador has the best ratio ? Congo 200% versus UK 5257% ?

Numbers add up:
UK Total cases = 60,733

UK Deaths 7097
UK Active Cases 53,501
UK Recoveries 135

7,097 + 53,501 + 135 = 60,733

So we must either be holding off on reporting recoveries as being still active, or something very weird is going on. I agree we probably have better healthcare chan Ecuador.

Hope so, love my bit of exercise, if it went too strict for too long people would just end up revolting imo...

Keep as is but no stricter

The slides and stuff they are showing these last few days suggest they dont reckon there will be any need to make them stricter.

Just hope that this coming long weekend (ha ha no ones working anyrate), wont be known as Bellend Easter in years to come.

I’m unsure but Lockdowns I’ve seen In most European countries seem to have been different , perhaps i’m wrong . As we know pete that wouldn’t be unusual .
