I imagine that it would be the WHO.
Can't remember the broadcast word for word but I think it was the Chief Medical Officer
Presumably scientists and epidemiologists who have studied viruses for many years...? If I had to listen to anybody's opinion on the matter, I'd probably choose theirs.
And yet they appear to be short on basic logic.

Perhaps you should get in touch and offer your services as it sounds like you've spotted something the world's best scientists haven't.
Re-read my posts and can't see where I've claimed I've spotted anything other than there is lots of allegedly specialist information that is contradictory. If you think otherwise, well it's all about opinion.

Great.

WASHINGTON — Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, recommended Sunday that elderly and vulnerable Americans limit their exposure to travel and large crowds as the world fights the coronavirus outbreak.

During an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Fauci said that the elderly and those with “underlying conditions” are “overwhelmingly” more likely to have complications if they catch coronavirus. “If you are an elderly person with an underlying condition, if you get infected, the risk of getting into trouble is considerable. So it's our responsibility to protect the vulnerable,” he said.

“When I say protect, I mean right now. Not wait until things get worse. Say no large crowds, no long trips. And above all, don't get on a cruise ship.”

“This will be a recommendation," Fauci said. "If you're a person with an underlying condition and you are particularly an elderly person with an underlying condition, you need to think twice about getting on a plane, on a long trip. And not only think twice, just don't get on a cruise ship.”

It's time for the elderly and most vulnerable to isolate themselves. It's not right that someone who is fit and healthy should be forced into isolation, especially as this virus is nothing more than a common cold for those who are otherwise fit and kids I believe aren't at any risk at all.

Also, I think elderly people need to limit the contact they have with their grandchildren right now...kids i would imagine are more likely to pick up this virus at school or buses to school... And while the virus might have little effect on them, passing it on to their grandparents is a different story...
