I bet you a smartie its sommet to with those daft data protection rules!

That is one possibility, but given that it doesn't apply to Police or Fire Brigades when they say they've gone to something in which someone has died it isn't a very likely one.

So only folk who have died with CV related stuff have to have their family give consent?

No. No one gives consent to what they've died from. When someone dies of cancer, NHS England doesn't ask for their consent when releasing X amount of people died from cancer.

No, I am saying that the NHS is compiling figures (almost certainly accurate figures) that are then qualified by things the government bring in - this requirement for a family to consent to their loved one being counted in the figures, for instance:

I am also saying there is fairly clear evidence that the Government or figures within it are lying, at least to political journalists who then put the rubbish out for us all to read.

The first casualty in any war is truth......

Its probably because we‘re issuing these numbers daily as opposed to quarterly stats publications, so they would possibly need permission in case the daily figures left a person able to be individually identified - i.e. if one person aged 19 in the south west area died on Tuesday, they could potentially be identified.

It's quite telling that

Deaths.

There will be far more many people who have had this virus than the official figures. So by the same token there will be far more many people who have recovered.

All you seem to be doing is spreading panic.

It's a crap situation. Everybody is now doing what they can.

I'm self employed Goat and can't work but luckily my missus has a good job with good wages so we're not in in any trouble financially, but I wouldn't like to think what state I would be in now if we relied solely on my money and I had to muddle through till the end of June. I won't be applying for any bailout cash though because as I say we won't starve, so I would rather leave it for someone who needs it.
Wish there was more people like you mate. Well done ;)

I know that it's a good news story about Britain and I risk the wrath of those who like living under a dark cloud but the teams responsible for NHS Nightingale should give themselves a huge pat on the back. Great work.

Really is brilliant. Sad that it's needed.

Would have been nice for the government to have had some foresight, mind. They could have had 3-4 of these extras up and running around the country by now.

Imagine if we'd just been prepared, ey.
