Heard she suffered from pneumonia for 3 days prior to here being brought to hospital. But I might have misunderstood that one.Yeah, crazy time. no underlying medical conditions either.
We think it's from the school my girlfriend works in... At least they all have a staff meeting on skype at 0900 tomorrow.
She's already been in quarantine for a week after presenting with a cough.
I’ve just been put on the job retention scheme been told nothing to worry about long term at the moment... we shall see.
It’s starting to hit home now this on a financial level.

That's pretty much how it all seems to me yes. Aside from the lockdown, there isn't really anything like a sense of collective panic.Whats the situation like over there? Everything still feels oddly normal here, or maybe that's my rather strange outlook on life .
We can work on improving our hospital capacity, plus testing/isolating and contract tracing. I also have hope that some of the treatments outside of a vaccine, for instance the plasma from recovered patients, will prove effective.

The pneunomia I heard on Q-radio Belgium. Just not sure on that other bit.I've not read anything yet. Will have a look now....
No mention of pneumonia... The report I read said she tested positive 3 days ago with a high fever and deteriorated really quickly. They don't understand why just yet.
It's not the same school, at least, according to Het Nieuwsblad, the city haven't confirmed it yet

Yes, it's very strange how quickly we all seem to get used to these new circumstances and rules.Tbf it's similar in the UK at least where I am. People are used to the 'new normal' now or whatever. I mean, I had to stop myself from laughing today when I popped into the local shop to grab some bread and milk and a paper for my grandma and everyone is standing on yellow tape two metres apart like zombies, but overall seems people are getting used to it.
Still massive numbers every day though.Italy‘s flattening continues, now need to see it go down
New #covid19 cases - 4053 flat from 4050
