It certainly doesnt help that the self employed have been told to muddle through till the end of June.

I'm self employed Goat and can't work but luckily my missus has a good job with good wages so we're not in in any trouble financially, but I wouldn't like to think what state I would be in now if we relied solely on my money and I had to muddle through till the end of June. I won't be applying for any bailout cash though because as I say we won't starve, so I would rather leave it for someone who needs it.

Not good numbers for the UK today in terms of the trend.. +3000 new cases and 380 deaths.

We are still on the upslope of this thing, although I don't know how much that headline increase can be attributed to wider testing.

Isn't it to do with something about them originally only taking the numbers from those who died in hospital from the virus mate?

Makes you think outside of a vaccine is our only realistic option to just carry on with life as best we can?

I know its abhorrent thinking of the number of deaths that would occur whilst the population developed immunity but what really is the alternative at this stage?

You cant keep the country on lockdown for 6-12 months the economy would completely collapse and they'll be anarchy on the streets.

Big decisions needed you feel over the coming weeks if this thing hasnt slowed down across the world.

The number of deaths posted now include non hospital ones dont they? Could be that they have had to tot up a few days worth.

He says more in hope than expectation.
I think from a media perspective of the numbers they aren't necessarily from that day . For example a 19 year old died on the latest information but he died a week ago. So I'm thinking that perhaps the data is behind itself, waiting for coroner reports to confirm / mention the virus

This could be miles worse than being reported then ?
