Yes, it's very strange how quickly we all seem to get used to these new circumstances and rules.

Less new cases for the 3rd day in a row here, so hopefully we're headed in the right direction.

Not disagreeing here Legs, but this is what should have been happening since January. Disgraceful that it wasn't.

But yes, eventually there is going to have to be a cut off point.

We haven't reached that stage yet. In the UK at least all of April is going to be lockdown. From then on we'll have to see if there's small steps which can be taken if the numbers start to improve. Probably just take everything week by week.

On the rest I think we’re probably going to have a oscillating tightening/loosening/tightening of restrictions once the case numbers are more under control with reassessments every week hopefully based on the quick turnaround of widespread testing.

Less new cases for the 3rd day in a row here, so hopefully we're headed in the right direction.

Was hoping for the same here yesterday. 132 deads on Sunday, 93 on Monday and today up to that record 175.

Tell you one thing though. Lost my mum last January at the age of 90. She had been in a hospital that seen a few of the earliest fatal victims of covid 19 in Holland. Looking back I can only feel relieved that she (and we as a family) didn't have to go through any of this.

Especially when you consider that on a “normal” day Italy has ~ 1750 deaths a day

How can you 'reduce the spread of the virus' when people are still coming into the country by plane and ferry and not getting tested for coronavirus. These 'experts' haven't a clue. To 'reassure viewers' we've asked German ....Hang on their modelling was supposed to be 'world class' so why are they looking elsewhere?

The number of deaths posted now include non hospital ones dont they? Could be that they have had to tot up a few days worth.

Think I saw early on there were 40 none hospitalised deaths. So still a big jump in deaths. Is the new cases figure a big jump too. I didn't catch yesterday s figure
