Mate, Italy has 105,000 confirmed cases and 12,428 deaths. Their initial inaction didn't help half of this mess in Europe too.
Our approach has been a shambles but let's try put some perspective on stuff.
We'll have to see where we are in 2-3 weeks of lockdown. Because frankly nobody actually knows if the lockdown is the best solution. It isn't what worked for South Korea for example, but they took preventative measures early on. We didn't - like the rest of Europe - and so have had to play catch up.
It's a really crap competition to be in, like, but everywhere is pretty much a mess and nobody knows if what we're doing works but we're just gonna have to go with it for the next few weeks-months and see where we're at.

Wherever the original worker had been in the building, a cleaning team went in and fully scrubbed the room(s) down. and if another symptomatic worker went in the same room a day or so later the cleaners were back in there disinfecting everything again.
