Which they could have bought with their own money anyway. The EU didn’t introduce a new supplier they just inserted themselves as a new purchaser. This was just the EU trying to look relevant. The Eu countries didn’t need the EU to buy them a bit of kit, what some of them needed was massive financial backing and guarantees via coronabonds or whatever, the EU completely flunked this one.....

It's quite clear now what's going to happen here with the lockdown: having failed - and been seen to have failed - on every aspect of this crisis, taking tens of thousands of lives the virus should never have taken, this criminal gang are going to extend the lockdown way beyond what happens elsewhere in Europe in order to appear competent and 'in control'. All the while they'll turn the accusations on to a few people in the country who will inevitably ignore the lockdown and break it.
