Should have put a man on the post, that's the only blame you could possibly attach to him. Then again that could easily be a tactic from the manager, I've never understood it personally.

This England side are absolutely pathetic, they have nothing about them whatsoever. Tammy Abraham is leading the line and he's godawful, Ward-Prowse as the creative spark and he is no different to a Cleverley or a Mark Noble. Painful viewing.

...I quite like what I'm seeing of Abraham. He's up against a lad who's a regular at full international level and he's gone to war with him as well as showing some nice touches.

If he had a load of mistakes in him he would have made a tonne already, especially when at Sunderland he was facing 20-30 shots a game.

He's already played over 150 times, I think you're being unfairly dismissive over him already.

He might make a few mistakes over the course of the season but it won't be a lot, goalkeepers of the highest quality also make mistakes through out the season .

The lad will save us more points than cost us.

...I'm not dismissing the lad, Aaron. I'm just not totally convinced about some aspects of his game. He's only a young lad and we know keepers improve with age. I've no doubt that he's a fine shot stopper but I'm not seeing him dominate crosses into the box and he flapped at an uncontested one in the last game.

No, I'm not dismissing him but I think we might have to be patient with him.

I can just see how the season is going to pan out on here. Every goal conceded will be dissected. Football is just a blame game now and apparently there are no good goals because someone is always at fault. That's why I miss commentary from the 70's and 80's because unless it was a total blunder they never blamed anyone and instead gave credit to the scorer.

This, this, a thousand times this.

After seeing it, could he have done better for the goal? Possibly but he's more let down by there being no support on the line/the post.

Only just got back in so only seen the last 10/15, claimed some crosses well but that's abar it.

I watched Leno play for Germany earlier. He let in a soft goal and messed up a few times. Every keeper makes mistakes or has aspects of their game that they need to work on.

I thought that was a ball delivered excellently onto the bonce of the Slovakian ... good goal. I might look at the sequence and ask where the aerial challenger was, or who was on the far post, but by and large I just give credit to scoring team. Pickford could do nothing with that excellent header

People have been doing that for a while, but one of our players scores a great goal and its all down to how good he is and not error from the opponent, always said this and its bang on
