Staying away from Colin and what his comments mean, I don't see how any stories of serious interest helps the board . I can see why vague hints might be useful in deflecting blame from the board but stories of interested parties quickly beck ome stories that Kenwright is asking too much and if anything that increases the pressure he's under, I don't see where he gains with these stories.

good point sheeds , but at the same time it looks like he is stil actively "looking" as it were . it just amuses me how we get linked with these people and mystically then just vanish. anyone remember the jain group heavily linked even had a tour round the grand old lady then.... nothing, never heard of ever again

There is honestly nothing in his twitter posts, it is just people being bad paranoid beauts

Moving the conversation from Colin and whether there is anything in it or not and I know unfortunately what I suspect.

I know most people think 'Jain' was a board hoax , all I can say is when I posted the name 'Jain group' on kipper to my knowledge the name wasn't out there. I'm not going to try and impress anyone but that's a fact (to the best of my knowledge) . I'm not going into details about the make up of 'Jain' & who they were but certain people in football finance believed they introduced people to the club who were genuinely interested , once talks commenced and dealt with the 'specifics' of finance it fell through. The people who introduced them actually felt they had brought them 6months before but to quote them 'couldnt get through the door' .A lot of professional football people bought into this 'potential interest' & I know they weren't doing it to support Kenwright it was because they thought they might earn from it basically. I can't talk with any confidence on any other interest or takeover attempts or whatever but I can on that one

Why is it only everton that get associated with " takeover" rumours? Other clubs generally get taken over..

i could only imagine what a certain other forum would be like right now if it was still around. Always enjoyed seeing that badboy thread jump back to the top

"First heard it a few weeks back. I was told the key issue will be the stadium. This was about 2 days before Moyes came out and said he thought a ground share was a good idea.

Also heard the price has been named, and it goes up by a third once the new TV deal money hits the bank.
But then we don't want their money do we? "

This is what comes about from having an unbelievably rich man controlling the club. If Green wasn't so loaded that he can sit back and stare down good offers our taeover would have come along before now.

That's all down to Kenwright for running off to Green and handcuffing us to his whims. We are effectively the prisoner of a tax dodging billionaire who can determine whether we tread water for another decade and beyond or can cut his asset loose to people who have a plan.

I have,nt named the linked source becuase I want to what to see what else develops form this but IF it is true then it will never happen on a shared based stadia plan as the fans won,t have it.

Intresting aspect is the two tier price plan, trouble is, how many times are rich investors going to keep sitting down with us and then get messed around.

Two tier with regards before/after the new tv deal kicks in or two tier in relation to the stadium issue being resolved/unresolved?

Unlike many I don't think Kenwright is the anti-Christ although I have real doubts as to whether he's 'up to it' , however as I've said before the possible involvement with green worries me and what influence he has. I do know green is 'supposed' to have strong connections with Pini Zahavi who did the transfer of billy when we paid at the very top end of the deal. I think it's all speculation but the price always seems an issue and like you I have my theories who seems so set on it.
