Normally at this point of the summer, we've had the usual "3 or 4 interested parties" story's coming from the media. Nothing on that front so far. Could it be because there actually may be a takeover this year.

Not that it matters but nobody i've asked has heard anything about a takeover . I really respect Colin so I really hope there is something in it but I'm not particularly confident , I'd be delighted if it was true though.

I know they normally are, and that'd there's no way the timings could be coincidence every year at the same time. But if Colin is hinting at one, it'd be a very strange source for a rumour to boost ticket sales.

Fitz is into the football qtr project big time which is the joint football area proposition between us and Liverpool.

My guess is Qatari sponsorship is being discussed with the 2 stadia representing groundshare, the fat cat represents Kenwrights over the top demands.

"Every picture tells a story" is self explanatory and the other songs are saying take the money Bill it's not what you want but you've put nothing in you're getting a decent return for nothing.

His parting shot being if you turn it down because you love the club too much (or being chairman too much) you're a tw@t.

Staying away from Colin and what his comments mean, I don't see how any stories of serious interest helps the board . I can see why vague hints might be useful in deflecting blame from the board but stories of interested parties quickly beck ome stories that Kenwright is asking too much and if anything that increases the pressure he's under, I don't see where he gains with these stories.
