Coleman is my favorite player

I know what the OP means about anticipating good things when he gets the ball. I caught myself willing the rest of the side to get the ball to him a lot yesterday, it's a good sign.

I think people subconsciously make comparisons with the standard we have on the other side of the pitch. Unreal. That's a world class partnership on display over on the left side. If you keep perspective, it's abundantly clear that Coleman slotting into RB with a player prepared to graft in front of him is a step in the right direction for us. Just accept the teething problems and give the changes support.

Baines deflected a ball going wide into the net...we can go on trading forever. Baines is world class and streets ahead of Coleman, no question. The point is we have to give the situation on the right time to develop with a settled unit, then maybe he wont leave as much 'to be desired' defensive wise.

Gotta agree with both points there, think they're both well made and spot on. He gives us options, and when Mirallas is playing in front of him, he seems to come into his own. I've love to see him play with Donovan in front of him for a few seasons, and Mirallas more central.

He's an exciting prospect, and if anyone can coach defensive qualities Moyes can. If we keep waiting for players to be good enough they'll be thirty before they play for the first team, game time is what you need to get good enough.

It looks like he offers us great balance and compliments Belg Kev well, two attacking fullback can leave us exposed though, but then we are more potent going forward, going to be interesting to see what Davey does Fulham away - wouldnt put money on Hibbert not playing away.

It's easier to get behind lids who have the right attitude, and Seamus certainly has that.

He's still raw but he'll get better with games. He really should be our first choice RB now, with perhaps some exceptions (Man U, Chelsea etc). Against most teams (Norwich, Stoke, Liverpool) he's really capable enough at both ends to excel.

Give him a few years and he'll be top, top class. Of that I have no doubt -- providing of course he's allowed to develop in the role.

Breath of Fresh air is our coleman (y)

Its all about the Faith , and showing it in Players (young ones especially) imo , more of the same plz davey , lets get the squad as a whole moving on and shaken up much quicker than previous

.

The thing i like about Seamus is you can tell he really wants it and is willing to put in the hard yards with a superb attitude and improve - he certainly has- compare him to Gueye who is prob the more technically gifted player and there is no comparison, Seamus has even played more games out wide.

Looks like hes been in the Gym as well bulking up - looked a bit hulkish on Sun.

Ideal if Coleman can have Mirallas in front of him on the right & Baines & Pienaar on the left it gives us balance of defending & attacking down both sides - Coleman does not need to make for anyone at Right back unless injured TH & PN have to wait till his form drops up to now he his getting much beeter as an attacking defending Right back!

Yer Mirallas is a good person Coleman is getting good a RB I think that can be his place where stays if hibbert is doing poo.Coleman is brill at RB.Do you think he is?

Do I think Seamus is brilliant at RB? Well he looks like he has the makings of a decent wing back / attacking full back. Have to see more games and he needs to get more games but promising signs are there, I'd say.
