Coleman is my favorite player

I like him when we had a bit of a barney with Citeh and he was being pulled away from Lescott snarling "Well he's not my f***ing mate..."

I like that too!

I would say on last nights display that he is the first choice right back for the Republic, can only benefit us, i would have him starting against the Uniteds Chelsea etc...

Trapattoni: "Coleman was fantastic, he was the man of the match. We know him and we have told him he is important to us for the future. I have said many times, the midfield of our team is not only the four midfielders, we have two more, the right and left-backs. Seamus is fast, he can recover the ball, he has a good personality and at this moment, he has a very good future."

If Trappatoni can see how good he is as a right back surely to god Moyes can and won't drop him for Hibbert or Neville unless he has a poor run of form.

Has Moyes said anything publically about the good job Coleman has done?

I'm just asking not moaning. Obviosuly he's done well and given him a run but it would be interesting to know how he thinks he's been doing.

Think his recent performances speak for themselves, don't they ? Apart from the odd defensive hiccup he's been excellent. Now he's taken that form to international level as well. Undroppable on current form.

To anyone watching yeah you'd think they do.

Its just that now the even more boring and conservative than Moyes Trappatoni has praised Coleman you think there's no way in hell that Moyes could drop him while he is playing as he is.

But the fact people are worried he will says alot about him. But he's supposedly changed this season so lets see what happens when Hibbert and Neville are fit and nowhere else in the team is avaliable for them.

I used to respect Trap but i think he's a chancer. Coleman has been Irelands best option at RB for a few years now but trap came out and said he wasn't a defender, then wouldn't give him a run on the wing. Now Coleman has the occasional rush of blood to the head at full back but he's far better at anyone else in the Irish team at this position. I can see why Gibson got so disillusioned with Trap and the Irish setup.

Can he get some love after today's performance. He adds another dimension to the attack and I think he continues to improve defensively every game.
