Improving all the time. 2 best moments today were his great shot today that just fizzed over the bar after a corner came out to him, and his pinpoint cross into Jelavic which was just about intercepted at the last second.

Offensively he's been fantastic, i still think there can be a some work done with the defensive side of his game but he's such a raw and promising talent, i don't see why he can't be our first choice right back for many years to come.

Coleman will (and maybe has) take over Tony Hibbert at right back. However, having watched replays, I think he was at fault for Liverpool's first goal... trying to push forward and got caught out.

I like coleman and he's great going forward but defensively he's still got a lot to learn. He dives in too much, he just needs to keep goal side sometimes and stay on his feet. Their first goal wouldn't have happened with neville/hibbert at right back.

am i the only one who doesn't think he is all that? He seems to me to be a one trick pony hit and run into the corner / blind alley...though today i have to hold my hands up and say he had his moments.

Nah mate I think he has developed. His passing range and awareness have def improved, but I do know what you mean. Sometimes he reverts to a default position of hit and run when there's nothing else on, but at least it's a positive thing.

All in all, I think he's on his way to being a very good right back one day. I hope so anyway.

he's starting to play like he did when on loan at blackpool. Starting to earn the rightback shirt now,getting better and better now,as he will have a real fight on his hands very soon with hibbo and neville,with gibson near return as well
