This is the worst shout of all. So lets put people at risk and if we run out of time we will just stop and nothing will be decided. FFS.

At least half the clubs in the Premier League will push for the season to finish on July 1, even if it does not leave enough time to play all the remaining games, in what could be a pivotal shareholders’ meeting on Friday.
While there had been a collective desire to finish the season, however long it takes, club executives now fear that the matter of expiring player and staff contracts is becoming impossible to resolve. “We are in danger of entering chaos territory,” a club insider told

Tbf I've read similar and share the feelings that noone should be put out or in danger at this current awful time.
Without fans there will be at least a sizeable gathering...
Both clubs have 20 players, 18 in their match day squad and usually 2 extra for dropouts.
Then there's probably another 20 staff for each club (management, coaches, doctors, physios, analysts, sports scientists).
Then we're looking at...
- Ambulance and a few parameeics.
- FA officials (plus 3/4 in every booth at Stockley Park).
- Cameramen, commentary and production team (for radio and TV).
- Club staff (groundsmen etc)
Presumably there's no journalists on site but if there are that's easily another 20.
150+ total probably. .
And the question needs asking if this is appropriate use of healthcare workers at the moment.
The 9 clubs though are not ruling out a contrived finish as in Scotland's lower leagues with no further games played.
They want
ideally, if circumstances allow it as sensible, the season to finish by July (with no fans but that may be impossible anyway) but are at pains to say it's totally dependent on the situation with the virus, and the government advice, they are not intending to exert any pressure just want a more realistic debate than restart the unfinished season whenever.
They just want clarity from the premier league with EUFA's idea of extending contracts to the end of the season (whenever that is) not at all likely to stand up to any legal challenge and totally worthless.
There are huge financial considerations not least players contracts, possibly teams losing players out of contract before a late restart, season ticket sales and transfer targets already with dates attached which may make a curtailed or aborted season with no more games but a formula for deciding matters, a far better alternative than just restarting whenever with huge uncertainty about a restarted season and a compromised next one.
They want the premier league to at least debate whether it's now impractical to insist on the season finishing in all circumstances and whether it's better to not look at finishing and starting the new season fresh in August or later as the situation becomes clearer.
