Germany have just announced that no football will be played before 31st August. Stick a fork in it lads, it’s done![]()
if the seasons made void do Man City qualify for the champions league next season despite there ban? If no who takes there place?
I'm not trying to blown my own trumpet. but I did warn of this. I did warn it would be very very difficult to move the June 30th date, and it would be a legal minefield to go beyond it. It now seems to be registering in PL clubs heads.
In stead of pursuing ridiculous options that would not stand up in law, they should have been making plans on that basis already. I will also add, we have in all likelihood already missed the deadline to finish by the time required, so a decision really just has to be made. We have given it every chance we could do, and more. We've done more than is reasonable, but the time has now well passed to make a decision to finish this season and start preparing for next.

Scottish Championship, League One and League Two seasons end after Dundee vote for SPFL resolution
Dundee Utd promoted to Scottish Premiership, Partick relegated to Championship; Dundee say this is best deal possible; strong words from Stranraerwww.skysports.com
It will be top 4 from end of last season, with Arsenal replacing City, should they fail to overturn the ban.
Wouldn’t that see us in The Europa League then.
What about the SPL?
Surely the championship cant declare a champion who's promoted until SPL decide what they are doing?
