Cancelling this season's Premier League

Should football be canceled until August and this season declared null and void?

if the seasons made void do Man City qualify for the champions league next season despite there ban? If no who takes there place?

It will be top 4 from end of last season, with Arsenal replacing City, should they fail to overturn the ban.

I'm not trying to blown my own trumpet. but I did warn of this. I did warn it would be very very difficult to move the June 30th date, and it would be a legal minefield to go beyond it. It now seems to be registering in PL clubs heads.

In stead of pursuing ridiculous options that would not stand up in law, they should have been making plans on that basis already. I will also add, we have in all likelihood already missed the deadline to finish by the time required, so a decision really just has to be made. We have given it every chance we could do, and more. We've done more than is reasonable, but the time has now well passed to make a decision to finish this season and start preparing for next.

Me too, not so much from a player contract view but from a putting next season in jeopardy view.

Look at the money it may cost if we dont finish this season, when 80% of it has been played. Now imagine we finish the season and everyone gets paid, but next season cant go ahead as there isnt enough time to fit all the fixtures in. Then clubs lose out on even more money.

Clubs are already being crippled so they cannot under any circumstances afford for next season to be affected.

Are there any numbers of players/first team staff who've contracted covid-19? In regards to season being completed.
