Can't be caught for what, a place in the play-offs with the other 5 teams who would then be in contention?

Nobody could catch the 4 teams in their European spots.

How so?

Well it's not comparable because the league has a play off system at the end, which obviously our league system doesn't. They also have room t add more teams to the league which we don't.

The bits that are comparable (relegation) the similarity is it's been voided, which is the bit we will take not of if/when we void.

Essentially, void the results, unless within the regular season someone can be mathematically caught. Save any headaches with legal action.

Its defo going to happen isn't it?. I bet once they've got their required 6 points they will put their feet up and not try making a mockery of the whole thing when other teams will have a European place up for grabs. As long as they are ok that's the main thing though isn't it. Luckily I haven't had to be in work to listen to a blag LFCTV version of events every day from people who have been to Anfield less than me.

The most Everton thing of all would be beating them in the derby with about 20 people there in person.

Well they are being awarded the title because in the orthodox season they have, they can't be mathematically caught. If they could have been, as we see from what they've done with the relegation issue, they have decided to void.

I can live with that. In the PL, where something is mathematically decided then award, if it's to mathematically decided, then follow that example and void.
