Cancelling this season's Premier League

Should football be canceled until August and this season declared null and void?

Is it mathematically certain they've won it?

No. They can still be caught by Rangers. I think Hearts were still in the relegation spot.

Isn't the relegation a bit like Germany where they have to have a play off against the team from the division below?

Then if they get given it Gerrard ought to do something about it, a petition or something.

He normally stamps on someone or does a two footed challenge when things don't go his way. Neil Lennon should watch out, he's already been booted by Shearer in the face.

To the premier league and all the RS lurking on this site, here’s how it is in reality...

We just don’t care anymore about this season, who wins the league etc. Award it to whoever you like you’re increasingly irrelevant the longer this goes on. We’re an ordinary family, season ticket holders at the clubs we support. Every day my brother (Everton), my sister-in-law (Villa) and until very recently my sister (Man Utd) go out to work on the NHS frontline dealing with COVID. My sister who has already worked many weeks in this fight saving many more people than those who’ve died (even before it became national news) managed to bring home a mild version of COVID which has then infected her husband (Man City) and 2 young daughters.

My wife and all her family (Liverpool) would give up football forever if it saves the life of any of my sister’s family. So understaffed are they right now that In a matter of a few days having nursed her family with no rest she’ll be past the nhs staff isolation period and being rushed back to the frontline.

You, the Premier League, are no longer relevant in the lives of courageous, innocent and ordinary people’s lives.

nailed it.

Ever since the severity in this country began to increase 6 weeks ago, I called for it.

Football is a game, regardless of how much they earn, they’re also humans. Risking their live in order to save a bit of money is absolutely appalling and adds to the strain of the NHS further.

Do what you want, but make sure peoples lives come first.

I also see UEFA are doing whatever they can to make sure this season is finished. Disgusting.

I know the money rich associations only care about one thing, but to be so blatant about if, and be so insisting on risking people’s lives is a joke.

Is anyone else getting the arse with this sport in general? Its becoming a bit like the emperors new clothes for me. Football thinks its above everything else with these narcissistic announcements , unrealistic deadlines and “meetings”. Gonna cancel Sky Spurts regardless what happens

We cancelled ours last September, I can honestly say I haven't missed it. If the mighty blues are on, I go to the pub (sheds a tear) and watch it.
