Dissapointed today, first half was really pot outside of first 15. Second half only looked like one team would win and it wasn't Burnley. Was dissapointed with the two subs, I can only assume Gueye was injured and Deulofeu will never make in this league if he can't/won't realise he doesn't have to beat a man every time.

But hands down the most frustrating aspect of today was Jagielka's distribution. It was rubbish.

Next week can't come soon enough.

On the plus side throughly enjoyed meeting @Woolly Blue and @Mikey_Fitzgerald

From August to December/January of last season we saw Deulofeu putting in fantastic crosses and passes for Lukaku.

Prior to that we saw a confident winger taking on and beating players.

I think he needs a run of games starting rather than being started against City when we didnt use him and then thrown on today when he should have started.

I actually thought that he really didnt have any real options today as there was no movement in the box so felt he needed to dribble closer rather than throwing in crosses to statues.

I'm not with you there Ian, what do you mean?

Oh and I didn't see the game, so my view is based only on result, probably take it with a pinch of salt this week.
Last week you were referencing the fact we could/should of lost because of City's missed chances. That's all the other poster was saying about us today.

Ok fair enough, I'm fickle who knew ha. Different teams and standards though, last week the point was good but I wasn't happy with our mentality. Obviously not sure about today.

We are a team that lacks intelligence and vision, there isnt a single player in that squad that can see more than one pass ahead, even when things arent working they carry right on doing it,Burnley packed their defence in the middle and we kept hoofing it up or trying to play through there

These results should be a rarity. I kept saying after the Bournemouth game our reaction would be key. And we've done terribly considering today's game was still deemed a reaction to that game. I just can't see us doing a RS and responding really well because we never really do.

I dunno why some overreact as if its a surprise we might get beat away to Burnley. Or that we look run of the mill up front. We made an arse of upgrading our attack in the summer and we will have to put up with plenty of ups and downs and average performances until they get some bloody quality in.

The only one in the whole squad who has that ability is Dowell.

He's young though so wont get his chance, but he clearly maps out moves in advance from the evidence I've seen.
