Blue Union Board Angst

They're right to be cautious and the fact that they'll be casting a critical eye over this scheme is a good thing and we should recognise and support that. No club board should be given a blank cheque of goodwill. Scrutiny will keep them on their toes.

And there is a concern here - a glaring one. 40 years worth of having the club's revenue and playing assets exposed to the vagaries of the football industry...on and off the pitch.

Let's hope Moshiri knows what he's doing. I for one wish he had more skin in the game than he has on this stadium scheme, because it would ensure beyond doubt he'd get it over the line and on cost and without any penalties accruing to us.

That's exactly what the BU didn't do, if anything it was clowns like them that made a direct line to the club even harder because they couldn't be trusted. Wasn't it one if them that did a confidential interview with Kenwright then published a tape of it? Then some idiot turned up with his mobile phone one harrowing him on video as he got out if his car? Really helped us didn't they.

How many people turned up to the silly little March they tried to organise? Or drinking to discuss the clubs future in the casa? Less then stood up and clapped Kenwright's face on the big screen that's for sure.
They protested directly at Kenwright as he climbed out of his Bentley?: cry me a river.

The marches were a success and kept the heat turned up on the old board. They were so rattled by it that Moyes and Cahill were both sent out to confront the media on it in order to protect Kenwright.

As for the taped conversation, IIRC it eventually came out that Mark Rowan had set up the terms for the interview with Kenwright and they were allowed to take a recording for accuracy's. But not before the whinging about 'spying' came out as a way of undermining the BU.

Hey we can have Watched Toffee keep an eye on them as well. Nothing could possibly go wrong then.

They organised 2 marches and taped him during a meeting without informing the club. Then they proceeded to bang on about organising more protests only to back down when the team performances on the pitch improved. These are the facts dave, I used to attend the meetings they held and followed them on social media. I witnessed the change, how they used to belittle anybody who didn't agree with their approach, backing out of protests because they were fearful of a backlash against everyday, match going evertonians.

The cold hard thruth is they wondered into the wilderness, jumped on the bandwagon with SoS on the away ticket price protest and pop their head up every now and then to keep themselves relevant.

And if you think they had anything whatsoever to do Moshiri taking over the reigns then you are more deluded them

Oh yeah, I nearly forgot: I see you've now personally distinguished between KEIOC and the BU. You previously castigated the former organisation but now you seem to accept that they were instrumental in stopping the disastrous Kirkby move.

Nice bit of footwork, but it didn't go unnoticed.

I think you'll find I said in my original post, should try reading instead of jumping straight in

That was KEIOC, then the BU formed due all the protest groups forming. All under one banner, then they just we mental and started stating they represented all evertonians and vilifying anyone who spoke up against them. Made all promises of matches and protests and completely backed out when the teams performance turned round.

Now they just pipe up whenever the club release something and try to find a negative spin to try and stay in the limelight, a bit of a "look at us we're relevant" attitude

Think Dave has me on ignore, but unless he can prove this (which would be totally new to me), can someone call him out on this latest bit of utter crap

Hahaha the 2 marches, yeah massive. The other 15 they organised all got canned because they were petrified of a backlash from fans
