Anyway more seriously to your point: I thought that at 10 men we'd lose the game, or draw it at best, but then when we went 1-0 up and 2-0 I thought this was a new Everton. on balance Baines and now maybe Keane are from the bottler generation, and their experience is Long but not successful. Zouma at 23, even Holgate seem to be tougher. I think Coleman is untouchable, but he might be feeling the pressure of Jonjoe Kenny, the first real challenge he's had? Haven't seen any highlights or watched it live today, though, but it really doesn't seem as bad as Black Saturday - we have had worse
Oh yeah, and more than Baines we needed a leader in the middle of the park and middle of defence to just tell everyone at 2-0 'We are not losing this game' - Gana, Davies, Schneiderlin (I know he wasn't playing), Gylfi, Baines, Keane are not those people. Holgate might be, but he's not a leader of the team yet
