Can only go on what you see. I have seen him play decent on the right, middle but very rarely if ever on the left. Surely that says it all? Don't play him there or ship him out.

I've actually been curious if we might try a lineup like this where there are lots odd interchangeable parts. With baines providing natural wide on the flank, we can afford to float our midfield more (as long as baines has cover when he makes runs).
