A baby died.
Plenty of Syrian babies died , because of the likes of her.
She willingly went to join Isis , acted in a way that she still holds views that are in line with there's.
She is solely responsible for being there losing her children and turning her back on the UK and its way of life till it suited her ends.
Didn't they make a big deal of burning there passports.
Nobody could prove either way if she has broken any of are laws over there , so are we just to take it as gospel she or any of the others are not a threat.
The law as it stands , she should be brought home, but that law should be changed.
Why should we pay for housing ect for someone who doesn't respect the people or country that will be providing it.
Hand them over to the Syrian's to deal with they are the ones who have suffered from this invasion let them judge the people who inflicted this war on them.

I think she's been talked about enough now. Just arrest her if she ever attempts to enter the country again and try her for treason. Kick her out of her camp and let her tend for herself. She won't last long. Job done. Utter filth.

ISIS is a cult, isn't it?

Pretty much, but it's more religious and open than a cult normally is, (cults tend to seek isolation over conquest and global fame).

That it actively seeks followers openly instead of covertly makes it more like just another pathetic extremist group, from one of the usual set of evil religions, drawing in the desperate or psychotic low life's in our society, by giving them a playground to act out their messed up fantasies in.
All the leaders ask for in exchange is their life, but that's not worth much at the time of recruitment anyway is it? That's why they are picked.
And all the leaders get in exchange is power, obedience and the feeling you can probably only get knowing there are people all over the world coming to die for you whilst you play battle tactics with a global force you couldn't hope to defeat.

It is a cult, but it's a cult of ****s on a suicide mission trying to take as many innocent lives with them as they can. Sad, pathetic, jokes of people every one of them, right up untill their godless deaths.

The only thing which isn't a joke about these Isis members is the devastation they left on their way out of their meaningless existence.

Why people can't appreciate life during their one chance to have it I will never understand.

I'm not very religious so I never experienced the warm glow of gods loving embrace that makes me want to massacre people for no reason in his name, so I guess my point is one of ignorance, but I can live with that.

I haven't been following the thread so apologies if it's out of step, but I went to a mosque (Ahmadiyya Muslim Community - the biggest in Britain) at the weekend for what was branded a Peace Symposium (basically an event to try and counter the negative image many Brits have of the religion). Anyway, the discussion got onto this case, and the host (Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad) said:

When this issue started, at that time our stance was she should be allowed to come to the country for the sake of the child and the woman should face trial. Unfortunately the child has now died.

She claims herself to be Muslim, so then Muslim countries should show sympathy to her. And if the British government has stripped her nationality, then any other country should adopt her, any Muslim country. Since her parents were from Bangladesh, the first duty is of Bangladesh to take her as their national.

I hear that argument but I still believe that she should have been bought back and tried for her crimes. If this had happened I honestly believe that the baby would still be alive and have a shot at life.

My stance is what’s the point in having these laws if we do not enforce them. She should be serving a 30y stretch. Instead we have a Home Secretary who is pandering to the right with a view to a leadership bid and has taken a decision that will only strengthen the ‘West don’t care about Muslims so why should you care about them’ narrative.

Plus the opportunity to debrief and garner intelligence on who ISIS groomed and operates would have been beneficial.

I know some won’t agree but that’s how I see it

We are complicit in her child's death, and as a nation we should all feel ashamed of ourselves.

I admire your compassion, but sorry no.

The only person who should feel shame is herself. Given the content of her interviews, she has none.

If she had stayed in our fantastic country, the NHS would have given her and the children all that was medically required.

I bet she's pregnant again in a few months, and the whole pathetic saga will start again.

Legal aid granted for Shamima Begum.
Stop the world, I want to get off. Imagine funding a terrorist hundreds of thousands of pounds to get her citizenship back after it was taken off her. I can only assume she'll be laughed out of court, then forced to foot the bill.

More likely if she'll be given her citizenship back then handed a new identity and lifelong security team that costs many millions to the UK taxpayers.

GREAT Britain.

A thoroughly well researched and rational response...

Thank you Sir. Appreciated.

Would you be surprised if the above happened? Or, at least, if she was granted her citizenship back? Does it even anger you that she will be granted hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of legal aid for her 'fight'? You should be bothered by it, in my opinion.

Welcome home Shamima

I understand human rights. But I don't believe the same rules should apply to terrorists, or contributors to terrorist organisations who kill innocent people.
