The concern is that she has openly stated that she still believes what IS stand for and only wants to return to the UK because the caliphate us coming to an end. That is not simply someone who made a misguided and immature decision.

I'm also not sure who you're referring to when you talk about people making excuses and showing good will to violent offenders.

I believe she should be allowed back but she will definitely have to stand trial for committing several terror related offences.

I mean, she has 0 remorse for any of her actions. What she did then and what she is now are the same person. She had no remorse of the people who suffered immeasurably under the hands of those pieces of crap. She has said a few times that the west deserves what it gets. Even if she went back to the UK and got a 5 year sentence or whatever, she'd be back out being a piece of crap and against the country that her child would have been in.

She didn't say that; she said that she believed in the Caliphate but that what IS came up with was not it.

As an advert to prevent the sort of lunacy and really rather open horror and corruption that lot represented (and to deter other people from being fooled the same way), there are few better examples than this girl and what happened to her.

Plenty of criminals don’t show remorse. It may get her a longer sentence if she continues to not but that’s it.
