It's always tragic when a child dies, more so when modern medicine makes many preventable, but from my perspective the onus of blame should not be on us.

So you'll have to do that on my behalf as I know who I am looking at when it comes to shouldering some level (well, the majority) of responsibility.

Shouldn’t have we bought her hack her and put her trial ? If not then what’s the point of having those laws in the first place ?

She should have been put on trial and imprisioned for the law she broke when she left and the baby given to carers that way she is punished for what she did and the baby still lives. I honestly don’t understand what this approach is so controversial.
