Did you listen to the recording of her interview this morning? Showed no signs of regret for what she did and basically said the reason she wanted to return to Britain is that her third child which is due shortly (her two first children both died in Syria) would "be cared for medically at least".

If we allowed her to come back in, the chances are her unborn child would be brought up radicalised and who knows, she could spend her time radicalising other young girls. She obviously still believes in the cause.

If she returns I can’t imagine Social services Wouldnt have to consider the welfare of her child and how suitable she is to care for that child .

Just heard lord carlise on radio 5 saying she can be prosecuted if it can be proved she’s supported a terrorist organisation and Isis is such an organisation, given her comments that has to be a consideration you’d think .

She’s a British citizen. Also a 19yr old kid. Is pregnant and has lost 2 children due to poor healthcare
Which her interview made abundantly clear is the only reason she wants to come back.

Also, many would argue that she gave up her British Citizenship when she left to join an organisation openly at war with "her country".

I said earlier I think that maybe the government should have looked at legislation wise . I think quite a few countries don’t allow dual citizenship so if you’ve ‘joined the caliphate ‘ so maybe it could have been explored whether the act of joining should have been considered renouncing your citizenship. I certainly don’t know enough about it but i’d like to think it’d have been something that would have been considered, that it’s not in law unfortunately doesn’t help us where we are now though .

Do you not care about dying babies like?
How many babies/children have died as a result of Isis atrocities?

TBH, if the girls family wants to go through channels to adopt the child and bring it back to this country I wouldn't have any problem with that whatsoever.

But the mother has shown no remorse or regret whatsoever and is clearly still highly radicalised. No way should she be allowed back or be in a position to raise children in this country under her sick beliefs.

Yeah I'm surprised they haven't too. I'm not too hot on the legal side but maybe any plans to do so would fall foul of the European human rights legislation. I'm pretty certain that other countries across Europe have a similar problem with returning radicals.

Maybe the answer would be for Britain/Europe to provide the funding and infra structure for those that fought for or supported ISIS to be tried and prosecuted in Syria. After all it's the people from that country and Iraq who have been the biggest victims of the atrocities.

Asad is in charge though so couldn’t happen there , I’d assume Iraq presents all kinds of problems not just because of the death penalty . I wasn’t suggesting it was easy by the way but as per usual there does seem to have been a collective sitting on hands .

What if she can pass on her experience and help prevent others from going and doing what she did?
Have you listened to her interview mate? There's more chance of her doing the opposite and encouraging young girls to do what she did.

Her only 2 regrets are that the Caliphate is losing the war, and that she deserted the sinking ship by running away to a refugee camp to protect her unborn child.
