Squad isn't good enough to be consistently solid yet, probably won't be for a season or two yet. We've gone from consistently bad to being inconsistent, which is a marked improvement compared to before Moyes came in.

You'd expect the improvement, though after spending what we did. What I want to see now, though, is us signing a new full back this window or deciding - ONCE AND FOR ALL - that Patterson is our man. Playing with proper full backs has given us two of our best wins of the season: at Forest and Villa.
