I think today is another game that Moyes has written off, due to injuries and Afcon, also its not in his DNA to get a result today whether we like it or not, McNeil will play even though he has done naff all in his time this season but this will not deter Moyes in picking him as with Barry.

When villa played at Hill Dickinson early in the season they were 2nd to bottom and winless, today they have the chance to go 2nd.
The difference in squad, Mangement and mentality and most of all ambition
And that failure to put away a Villa side on its knees means no excuses today when we are on ours. Had we beaten them when we should, we could have afforded a certain amount of understanding today. It's a mirror image of the FA Cup defeat. Had we played our full side against Wolves in the League Cup and maximised our chances in that competition, we could have been more forgiving of last week's disaster. Moyes fans want it both ways: excuse failure to beat the top sides, but want a pass when we can't beat the poorer ones. Want all the credit when we sign a successful player, but it's Kinnear and Co's fault when they fail.

We need a point today to stop the rot. The manager needs to find solutions. If he's going to wave the white flag when things get tough, we might as well not have a manager.

The Moyes lottery continues today
Lose the games we should win, win the games we could lose and lose the games againt top 6.

This is the issue with him, he goes on a bit of a run and all is good with the world, then capitualtion against an average team, grinds a result against a good team and surrenders before kick off to a proper team.

The most frustrating manager I can remember

McNeil and Mykolenko are going to start.
We should just persist with Dibling and Aznou until we have the rest of the group back.

Don't get the issues with Myko starting.

There is already a change to the backline with Keane suspended so J O'B shifts across and Patterson starts at RB.

Against team who needs a point to go 2nd you really want another fringe player at full back on the other side?

Also a game where there won't be much expected of Myko going forward so he can just sit in and hopefully defend o.k against whatever Villa have down that side.

If the game is up by 70th minute then I woul put Aznou on just for him to get some prem experience in relatively low pressure situation.

I don't think he's ready at all to start high intensity prem games yet. The problem of course is not signing a capable LB who can offer productivity in opposition half and link up with Grealish more effectively.

Yep this is Moyes.

The most consistently inconsistent manager in the game.
