Despite my constant posts regarding the high possibility of us being on the receiving end of a savage dry bumming today, I must admit there is about 1.75% of me thinking we may produce an arses-to-the-wall performance where we repel any and all of Villa's attacks and produce a heroic performance, nicking a goal at the death and sending the fans into raptures.

I think our best hope in this game is Villa's league situation. With City losing and Arsenal drawing yesterday they'll be desperate to win, and this brings it's own pressure. If we can keep it at 0-0 for an hour then nerves will kick in, which gives us a chance.
