We were fine with McGinn on.MOTM Garner, in a match where very few stood out, we caught Villa on a bad day for them, they lacked any spark, maybe to do with McGinn going off early, though that doesn't take anything from an excellent result, thought the ref was poor, he was almost blowing for fouls as soon as any Everton player approached one of Villa
My 4-0 drubbing took a battering.Hands up if you saw that coming ?
Nightmare day for the haters all round: Moyes outwitting one the best managers in the league and Patterson, Rohl and Barry all played well.MOYES HATERS, EAT IT!
BARRY HATERS, EAT IT! (whats that? 4 in the last 8 for him?)
Barry was tireless and got the goal, MoM for me.
Garner very close behind!
Credit to Dwight and Patto for a decent showing, Myko and JoB excellent
Grealish was anonymous for the most part but so valuable winning the Fks in the last 20 or so.
Overall - brilliant and shockingly good performance given what the manager had to play with!
EDIT: forgot Pickers!! What a stop!
Agree. It’s an irritating rule in a situation where you can argue he didn’t affect the game but it’s the same reason why someone clearly offside doesn’t attempt to play it .He made a clear attempt to play the ball. It’s clearly offside and bizarre people don’t see that.
Never rubbish VAR decision! See those goals given every week!He made a clear attempt to play the ball. It’s clearly offside and bizarre people don’t see that.
Not today , not on that display...and I can't stand Dwight but he was very tight and disciplined today.Maybe Dibling for Dwight but that’s it I guess!
Hard to believe we hadn't beaten Villa in the league since 2016. Long overdue.
