Ask Steve Walsh?

Michael Keane ? Did you ever actually watch him An edge of the box deep playing defender who heads and clears balls away all day in that role .but we want him to play 25 yards further up the pitch so he can get turned like a Baby giraffe by fast nippy forwards and play balls out like a composed Italian defender ? Oh and 30 million wow !

I've read an article where he confirmed Keane was Koemans signing. Walsh wanted Maguire but Koemans choice was Keane

From reading all the comments and taking a view, I'd say that Walsh was a front man for Koeman to blow his load on terrible signings. I can't imagine Walsh would have scouted Klaasen (stinks of Dutch boys club all over) or the Southampton reject.

It would be interesting to see who he actually put forward as candidates to pursue. He may well have had zero power in the market, otherwise I'd imagine that Koeman would've been blasting him for not signing any of his targets ala Mourinho style.

I think this mess is a combination of a lack of leadership in the boardroom and a manager like a kid with his first pay packet.

So my question...If you could injure Koeman how would you do it? Boot in the gouche or GBH by edam?

I'd padlock his fridge shut and refuse to give him the key until he publicly apologises for what he did to Everton FC.

...I heard Walsh say whoever identified a target initiated the approach, which is absolute madness if you have a manager and DoF working to different agendas. Saying that, he did say they both had the power of veto on any target, which begs another question;

Did you or Koeman ever invoke the power of veto to stop a transfer being progressed by the other?
