I'm not sure it has been mentioned but we do miss Oviedo he didn't play many games but when he played we scored.

Give me a break...

It's a fact sorry, not a dig. I'm a fan of Martinez for playing Barkley and Robles but youngsters of varying ability who need this experience.

Getting 4 put past him is a feeling I would hope he doesn't ever want to feel again.

Maybe, but when you post it out on its own like that with no comment it looks like a moany dig especially amongst some of the other comments here. I'm sure you can see that.

Sorry to pick you up wrong. We will be fine I think. We need time and an upgraded first team, however I hope we wont still be saying this in a year or two.

Keep the faith blues ;)

also I missed the first 60 mins as I said, but Barkley has been poor aside from the first two months of the season. He's been selfish and he hasn't assisted or scored enough to play in the number 10 position. It's good that he's getting experience, but his decision making needs a lot of work, he can be too selfish at times.

Pienaar is a really frustrating player to watch... he's good at keeping possession but he's not dangerous enough.

Delboy hasn't done much since his injury... his best game really was the previous arsenal game so he really should have come on a lot earlier.

McGeady isn't going to be ready this season.

Mirallas can also be really selfish sometimes, but generally he's probably been the best of the attacking mids.

Osman is good for about 30 minutes a game... seems to play better as a substitute

Barkley was our best player today mate.

Kenwright is the main reason we will never be succesfull there is no doubting that.
But its the tactics not the players that mean we hardly create anything.
We never have efforts on goal unless from distance.

No he's not; performances on the pitch are down to the team and manager. Money doesn't guarantee success ask the RS.

TBH we caught Arsenal on a good day - at 1-1 the pen was a killer - we looked tired held our own for 70 minutes - Funny enough you could not blame Robles shaky performance for anyone of the goals - they had us wide open on Baines side 3 of the goals came that way - why was Lukaku on the right wing most of the 2nd half? never mind disappointed but 4-1 is a harsh score line - it was always going to be a difficult task!

Okay, end of the dream for this season.

WE lost IMO due to

1) the penalty which put us up against it.

2) bad substitutions, I never want to see Osman on again, McGeady is not very good no better than an average squad player (championship player, waste of money, for me)

3) Peanuts is coming to the end of his time.

The positives,

!) we played darned well upto the subbing,

2) Give Joel more starts to get playing time and expereince. Unlike Howard he did come off his line!

3) Stones is good, IMO get Duffy back and give him some starts or subbing for Distin so we can see these two together.

4) sign Lukaku,

5) not convinced about Barry, maybe one year contract but blood some younger players in this position.

we didn't mate, we really didn't. we were second best for the whole game and never actually achieved a moment of sustained pressure. what we played at emirates in the league was darned well, not this.

think you're going a bit OTT about the changes that need to be made here as well, we've had a good season but needed to strengthen in jan - we didn't and now we have no better second alternatives to turn to.

Looking to the rest of the season now it has to be about solidifying the system that was such a success for us early on and then adding that final killer touch. Liverpool didn't have it last year, so they bought it.

We're not gonna do that, so we're gonna have to find a way of engraining it in our squad;
