We have just under another month of this torture. I dont think i can stand anymore to be honest.

when AJ left we already had the Yak. We just had to replace cars last season but ended up replacing AJ too. He was like our Tuncay or Dirk Kuyt with his work ethic. we got 10 million for him and in jan we got 6 million for mcfadden. And in total we spent just 15 million for fellaini. So where the hell were the money from BK,we don't even have that debts to pay back and im sure this season its a bit similar aswell, Bk got no cash or if he does then wait till 11:59 PM BST 1 September.

Hopefully im wrong and we'll spend it well in the end..

I wonder how high quality our "back up will be" young players? Loans? Frees? High quality signing? A mixture?

Our 1st 11 is a match for most teams, without a doubt, I fear nobody when our team has Arteta, Fellaini, Cahill, Yak, Jags, Lescott, Pienaar, Baines in.

But thats the problem. When we lose just 1 of those players, we have nobody that can fill the void and the rest of the players cant step up.

We have 8 maybe 9 players of high standard, but to be a success you need 12-13 players of a high standard and 2-3 players of outstanding quality. We are so near, it wouldnt even take that much, take a chance Bill, you bad weapon.

He could go to his mate Greeny, get a loan off him, if it goes bad, he can just sell his shares and pay back Greeny, proper blue is Bill, but doesnt want to spend HIS money.

It may well be mate but you cannot argue with the fact that this thread now has considerable realism to it. I was really hoping my fears would be premature but unfortunately, this has been a worse summer than last. Starting this season without Arteta, Jagielka and Yakubu is hardly great preparation coupled with the fact that Lescott now officially wants out and zero new faces in, tops off yet another miserable period for us blues when we should be making progress.
