Remember when he was about to become our manager, I remember the front page of the Echo. I was made up, but then my arl fella explained a few things. Was my hero in the 80s I swear.
Pretty small time that if you ask me, he was only at the club for a two seasons, not like he was here his entire career. Can't forgive his celebrations when Stevie 'Slippy' G hit that screamer against Olympiakos in The Chumpions League !

Not sure about that Mr, remember him and his banteriffic buddy scurried off to Murder State to get that Arab money after Sky shot them out of a cannon. If anything it shows he has integrity because he isn't biased
The Kopite pundits could learn a thing or two from him there
And certainly not a RS being our chairman.Agree.
And I wouldn’t trust Peter Johnson as far as I could throw him.
True this, we moan about them being biased but the moan when one isnt, never thought about it like that. End of the day he was doing a job for Sky, representing Sky, that had nothing to do with Everton and didnt take anything away from what a legend he was.If anything it shows he has integrity because he isn't biased

He never changed his mind, he was never actually offered the job, Johnson just spoke to him about the idea of being a manager, even though he had no experience of managment. When he changed his mind/turn down the Everton job back in 97 he sold his story of it to the hated S*n 'newspaper'.
Openly cheering RS goals 'ohyabeauty' etc.
Great player for us but tainted a bit since for me.
....great memories of his time with us as a player, and much preferred Andy Gray days as a Sky pundit to the current crop of ex-Reds.
Some??????To be fair, some have moved on to hating our current players.
